Curative Services Division (CSD) is one of five divisions under Department of Health Services (DoHS) and works through its three different sections, namely Hospital Services Monitoring and Strengthening Section, Basic Health and Emergency Services Management Section and Eye, ENT and oral Health Section .

The major responsibility of CSD is to ensure the basic health service free of cost guaranteed by Constitution of Nepal (article 35). CSD regulates and coordinates to establish, operate and upgrade the specialized tertiary hospitals. Minimum Service Standards (MSS) health facilities are the service readiness and availability tool foroptimal requirement of the hospitals to provide minimum services that are expected from them. CSD has been continuously working to strengthen the hospital services through various programs and these efforts will be reflected through this website which is developed in FY 2078/79. I hope this website will be an useful platform to provide important information to all concerned regarding the progress of the programs conducted under this division.
