1.Define and effective management of Basic Health Services according to constitutionalsystem and provide it at free of cost,

 

2.Determining the scope and criteria of basic health services,

 

3.Supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the quality of basic health services,

 

4.Evaluation of the effectiveness of basic health services and co-ordinate to all levels of federalstructure for continuous improvement by providing feedback,

 

5.Modification and extension of basic health care services based on the emergence ofdiseases, availability of financial resources and local needs,

 

6.Conduct study and research about basic health service,

 

7.To facilitate for formation of laws, policy, rules, criteria, protocols and guidelines to makeemergency health care service effective,

 

8.To facilitate for formation of laws, policy, rules, criteria, protocols and guidelines regardingreferral system and

 

9.To assist MoHP for the implementation, monitoring and regulation of emergency service andreferral service.
